SeatGeek is seeking a Manager for Core Engineering in New York. You will lead one or more teams, shaping a roadmap to transform a strong technical foundation into a resilient, user-focused product.

You will drive operational excellence, manage performance, and collaborate with product and security peers to align technical decisions with business goals. You will review code and architecture, shape the team’s direction, and actively participate in recruiting to grow the engineering organization.

Qualifikationen

• Proven ability to lead and grow teams delivering complex software platforms.
• Strong collaboration with product, design and security teams.
• Experience with scalable, resilient distributed systems.
• Effective communicator, able to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Lead one or more core engineering teams and shape their roadmap.
• Own a transversal core engineering domain, maintaining high operational excellence.
• Provide technical and design feedback through code and architecture reviews.
• Participate in recruiting and help grow the engineering team.

• Guide build-vs-buy decisions with vendors when needed.
• Communicate decisions clearly and resolve blockers across the org.
