Job summary

SouthState Bank seeks a Core Banking Intern for a dynamic 10-week program in Texas. You’ll participate in onboarding, hands-on experiences, and mentorship while gaining exposure to operational processes, client engagement, and strategic initiatives that support community impact.

You will collaborate with product managers, analysts, and leaders to contribute to real‑time banking initiatives, conduct market research, and develop analytical and creative skills within our brand voice and digital

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Project Management, Information Systems, or a related field; Rising Senior graduating December 2027 or May 2028 preferred. 3.4 GPA preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; strong analytical and creative mindset, and eagerness to learn.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Participate in internship program activities, including workshops, training sessions, and special projects.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify client needs and recommend tailored banking solutions.
• Assist with data analytics, due diligence on banking platforms, and document reviews to support client engagement and outreach.
• Collaborate with product managers, analysts/specialists, and team leaders to contribute to real-time consumer and business initiatives.
• Support activities to enhance user engagement and promote banking services through various channels.
• Prioritize tasks, maintain attention to detail, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
