Job summary

SouthState Bank is seeking motivated undergraduates for a 10-week Core Banking Internship Program designed to introduce banking operations, client engagement, and strategic initiatives. Interns will work with seasoned professionals, gaining hands-on experience across onboarding, workshops, and real-world projects.

You will participate in mentorship, speaker series, and networking events while developing analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree; rising senior graduating Dec 2027 or May 2028 preferred.
• 3.4 GPA preferred.
• Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; strong analytical and creative mindset, eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Participate in internship program activities, including workshops, training sessions, and special projects.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify client needs and tailor banking solutions.
• Assist with data analytics, due diligence on banking platforms, and document reviews.
• Collaborate with product managers, analysts, and team leaders on real-time consumer and business initiatives.
• Support activities to promote banking services through various channels.
• Prioritize tasks, maintain attention to detail, meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
