Job summary

SouthState Bank is offering a 10-week Core Banking Internship Program designed for undergraduate students to gain hands-on exposure to banking operations, client engagement, and business initiatives that drive success and community impact.

You will work with seasoned professionals, participate in onboarding, hands-on experiences, mentorship, and a speaker series, while developing analytical and creative skills and professional networks.

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Project Management, Information Systems, or a related field; Rising Senior graduating in December 2027 or May 2028 preferred. 3.4 GPA preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; strong analytical and creative mindset, and eagerness to learn.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive, and able to work effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Participate in internship program activities, including workshops, training sessions, and special projects.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify client needs and recommend tailored banking solutions.
• Assist with data analytics, due diligence on banking platforms, and document reviews to support client engagement and outreach.
• Collaborate with product managers, analysts/specialists, and team leaders to contribute to real‑time consumer and business initiatives.
• Support activities to enhance user engagement and promote banking services through various channels.
• Prioritize tasks, maintain attention to detail, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
