SouthState Bank is excited to offer a 10-week Commercial Banking Internship Program for undergraduate students, with hands-on exposure to market-leading financial solutions and real client work. You’ll collaborate with seasoned professionals to develop analytical and financial skills in a collaborative, community-focused environment.

Onsite in Austin, TX, the program includes onboarding, mentorship, and networking events, with a 3.4 GPA preference and graduation in 2027.

Qualifications

• 3.4 GPA preferred.
• Current undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Rising Senior graduating in 2027.
• Complete mandatory new hire compliance training and New Employee Orientation.

Responsibilities

• Participate in internship program activities, including workshops, training sessions, and special projects.
• Conduct market research and financial analysis to identify client needs and tailor banking solutions.
• Assist with financial spreads, due diligence on potential borrowers or guarantors, and loan document reviews.
