Job summary

Lunar Energy in Mountain View, CA is seeking a Warehouse and Inventory Associate on a contract basis (20 hours/week). You will support production operations and engineering projects by handling inbound shipments, moving materials, and picking/packing parts for outbound shipping.

The role requires 3–5 years of related experience, ability to lift up to 45 lbs, and proficiency with forklift/pallet jacks. Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft/Google tools is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a related field.
• Able to lift and carry up to 45 lbs.
• Able to use warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and hand trucks.
• Demonstrates effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office/Google Suite.
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking, the ability to self-manage.

Responsibilities

• Receiving inbound shipments, physically and systemically, to be used in production operations and engineering projects.
• Physically and systemically moving approved Production materials from IQC staging areas into storage locations.
• Pick, pack and ship parts to support outbound shipping requests.
• Performing other systemic transactions as needed.
• Complying with materials management policies and processes, including FIFO, 5-S, Safety, Quality, Attendance and Good Warehousing/Housekeeping processes.
• Support the cycle count process in coordination with the manager.
• Communicating via e-mail the status of material movements and transactions to appropriate internal customers.
• Special projects and ad hoc tasks for growth.

Responsibilities:

• Receiving inbound shipments, physically and systemically, to be used in production operations and engineering projects.
• Physically and systemically moving approved Production materials from IQC staging areas into storage locations.

• Complying with materials management policies and processes, including First In/ First Out (FIFO) material rotation, 5-S, Safety, Quality, Attendance and Good Warehousing/Housekeeping processes.

• Special project, other duties, adhoc tasks for growing startup as required.
