Job summary

Lunar Energy, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Technician II for Test Operations (Contract) in Mountain View, CA. This hands-on role supports daily test execution, equipment swaps, and lab upkeep to help advance our clean energy products.

You will monitor tests, document findings, run test scripts, and assist with minor repairs. A strong eye for detail and readiness to learn safety protocols are essential.

Responsibilities

• Keep test benches, equipment and labels organized; maintain lab cleanliness.

Engineering Technician II, Test Operations (Contract)

On a given day at Lunar, you'll likely...

• Monitor ongoing testing
• Take pre- and post-test photos and conduct functional inspections of DUTs, with training from test engineers
• Run test scripts, swap equipment between runs and support minor repairs (e.g. swapping an inverter or battery blocks)
• Support offsite testing as neededTag DUTs and maintain post-test inventory, ensuring it gets flushed out regularly
• Keep test benches, equipment, and labels organized, take ownership of lab cleanliness and upkeep
• Maintain inventory of common lab equipment and order/make more things as needed
• Flag equipment issues or process improvements to the engineering team

Please note that the hourly range information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position provided pursuant to the Pay Transparency for Pay Equity Act for California applicants. The hourly range estimate for this position depending on level of experience is $35-$60 USD
