Job summary

IEM in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an Operations Manager for Copper Bus Fabrication on the night shift. The role leads fabrication operations, ensures safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets, and partners with Engineering, Planning, Quality, and Maintenance.

100% in-person position with shift timing discussed at offer. You will supervise Supervisors and Leads, drive efficiency, OEE, scrap reduction, and continuous improvement, while maintaining SOPs and standardization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in metal manufacturing operations.
• Leadership experience managing supervisors and fabrication teams.
• Strong knowledge of CNC punch, forming, and material flow.

Responsibilities

• Lead copper fabrication operations across shifts to meet SQDC targets.
• Manage Supervisors and Leads, ensure stable fabrication flow and proper cross-training.
• Drive throughput, OEE, scrap reduction, and manage performance trends.
