Job summary

IEM in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a production supervisor to oversee the powder coat line and related fabrication operations. You will manage daily priorities, coordinate with scheduling, and drive quality across metal, copper, phenolic parts for switchboards.

The role requires hands-on leadership, experience with CNC fabrication equipment, and the ability to read mechanical drawings (SolidWorks). You’ll train staff, enforce safety, and improve processes to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• 4-year college or technical degree preferred or 3 years of relevant job experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in metal fabrication shop using mechanical equipment.
• Experience operating a paint line.

Responsibilities

• Maintain powder coat line equipment and operations.
• Coordinate with scheduling to stage parts for powder coating.
• Manage, order and track materials for powder line operation.
• Train designated personnel on powder system operations and fabrication equipment.
• Maintain high quality standards for all powdered products.
• Supervise fabrication of metal, copper and phenolic parts for switchgear assemblies.
• Read mechanical drawings and SolidWorks packages.
