Job summary

Eaton seeks a Machine Operator - Copper Fabrication for its Omaha, NE facility. The role involves fabricating copper bar stock into electrical busway, measuring bar stock, and operating a shear, punch press, and press brake to meet engineering drawings.

Responsibilities include epoxy coating of busway, verifying tolerances with measuring tools, and providing installation assistance as needed. Requires a High School diploma or GED and 1 year of CNC experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• 1 year of CNC Machine Operator experience.
• Eaton will not consider applicants for immigration sponsorship.
• No relocation benefit is being offered; only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Reference engineering prints or drawings.
• Use tape measure and other measuring devices to verify bar stock.
• Operate a shear, punch press, and press brake to shape copper bar stock.
• Coat busway components with epoxy as part of the process.
• Measure within tolerances using appropriate devices.
• Assist in installation as needed.
