Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an experienced Brazer for a contract-to-hire position in Grenada, MS. The role focuses on brazing copper components and coil assemblies and requires the ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools.

You will operate oxygen-acetylene equipment and perform mechanical assembly with hand and power tools in a large plant environment. Applicants should have brazing experience, hand-brazing skills, and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and braze copper components, headers, manifolds, and coil assemblies.
• Set up and operate oxygen-acetylene brazing equipment.
• Read and follow blueprints and coil prints.
• Use brazing rods and flux to create strong, quality joints.
• Perform mechanical assembly using hand and power tools.
• Measure and verify dimensions using tape measures and other tools.
• Monitor material inventory and report shortages.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
