Pacific Office Automation, a major document imaging and technology dealer, is seeking a Copier Field Technician to join the Reno, NV service team. You will perform service calls, support customers and vendors, and help maintain inventory integrity and branch performance.

The role requires hands-on experience with office equipment brands (Canon, HP, Lexmark, Sharp, KM, Ricoh, Oce, Kyocera, Riso, Kodak), strong communication, teamwork, and strong troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with customers and coworkers.
• Strong customer service orientation and relationship management abilities.
• Proven troubleshooting skills for digital office equipment and related software.
• Good organizational skills with ability to prioritize conflicting demands and meet targets.
• Self-motivated with initiative and willingness to work extra hours during peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform service calls on machines listed for the account base.
• Assist Sales with demos as requested.
• Maintain technical knowledge on all products and recommend training needs.
• Support branch with inventory accuracy and cost targets.
• Collaborate with service team to complete assignments and provide tech support.

Copier Field Technician to join our service team in Reno NV

Essential Job Duties

Routinely demonstrates and creates a helpful and positive work cultureEncourages and builds positive relationships and communicates effectively with all co workers and outside customers and vendorsAlways conducts self in accordance with the companies Code of ConductMeet or exceed team productivity goals on key performance measurementsMeet or exceed all inventory integrity goals including line item accuracy and dollar value varianceMeet or exceed financial targets including parts cost per callMaintain technical knowledge on all productsMake recommendations to Branch Technical Manager for any identified service training needsAssist Sales department with sales demos as requestedPerform service calls on those machines showing up on Excessive Activity and 3 and 30 reportPerform tech assist calls with other members of the service teamService machines for assigned account base consisting of major accounts escalated accounts etc as assigned

Product Lines Pacific Office Automation supports Canon HP Lexmark Sharp KM Ricoh Oce FP Mail Kyocera Riso KodakCertification andor hands on experience with at min one of the following product lines is required Canon HP Lexmark paid training on other manufacturer brands covered by POA ifas necessary based on a specific marketExcellent communication skills verbal and written; strong customer service skillsStrong relationship management skills with customers vendors and employees within the company requiredExceptional mechanical aptitude & demonstrated skills required; and proven troubleshooting skills handling digital office equipmentEffective organizational skills with the ability to use good judgment in performing conflicting demands and managing prioritiesDemonstrates initiative with the ability to seek out relevant information prior to making timely decisionsMust have strong ethics and work as an effective collaborative team memberStrong Computer literacy Fiery controller experience is a plusA self starter with the ability to work extra hours as necessary and during peak periods
