Job summary

Pacific Office Automation, a major player in the document imaging and technology space, is hiring a Shop Technician for our Phoenix, AZ location. The role is a mid-high level technician position with copier experience and a pay rate of $20–$24/hr DOE.

The job includes building, assembling, and inventory control of equipment, plus collaborating with the shop manager to resolve issues and order parts. Overtime may be required and opportunities for advancement are available.

Qualifications

• Mid-level technician with copier background required.
• 2+ years supporting office equipment.
• Strong basic knowledge of computers and networks.
• Training and experience with Sharp, Konica Minolta or other copiers, printers, and fax products.

Responsibilities

• Assemble new, demo or refurbished equipment for delivery and setup at customer locations.
• Maintain accurate inventory and organize equipment.
• Coordinate with shop manager on equipment issues, orders, and service needs.
• Order parts through internal parts department and diagnose mechanical/electrical malfunctions.
• Provide strong customer service to internal teams and external clients.
• Possess ability to work occasional overtime.
