Job summary

FlexTG is seeking an Experienced Copier/Printer Service Technician to service and repair office equipment across a designated territory, including East Washington, DC and surrounding areas. The role emphasizes strong hardware skills, problem-solving, and customer-focused service.

You will diagnose issues, install equipment, and perform preventative maintenance while managing parts and maintaining professional customer interactions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 21 years of age and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and transport equipment up to 50 lbs and work in various customer locations.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with basic networking knowledge.
• Ability to diagnose hardware/software issues and perform preventative maintenance.

Position Summary

The Experienced Service Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing office equipment in a designated territory. This role requires strong technical expertise, time management, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Service and repair copiers and printers with minimal supervision
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and basic network-related issues
• Install and configure equipment, including scanning in peer-to-peer environments
• Perform preventative maintenance to maximize device uptime
• Manage parts inventory and supplies according to company standards
• Maintain an organized service vehicle, tools, and schedule
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Support sales teams by identifying potential upgrade or replacement opportunities
• Ensure a professional appearance and excellent customer experience at all times

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 21 years of age
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift and transport equipment up to 50 lbs
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Basic networking knowledge (print drivers, connectivity troubleshooting)
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
