Bombardier is seeking a Training Coordinator in Wichita to lead curriculum development, instructional design, and delivery of aviation training programs. You will guide on-site teams, collaborate with regulatory bodies, and manage budgets and training materials.
The role emphasizes facilitation, content leadership, and the ability to coordinate across multiple training sites while maintaining compliance with FAR Part 147 and related standards.

Facilitate on the job training
Assist in establishing a culture of learning within the network training facilities
Lead storyboarding and instructional design processes
Provide technical guidance and expertise in troubleshooting training issues and problems for assigned site(s)
Perform formal evaluation of training courses and programs, for example, knowledge retention, on-the-job transfer, and cost-effectiveness
Coordinate with management team to address and resolve training-related issues for assigned site(s)
Coordinate with vendors and schools to select training courses and seminars for the development of specialized skills and qualifications
Assist in developing and administering training budget for assigned area(s) and site(s)
Facilitate technical training courses and programs, for example, advertising and scheduling of courses, rooms, equipment and coordinating course evaluations
Assist in development of curriculum, materials, and teaching aids, for example, training handbooks, demonstration models, video content, and reference workbooks
Coordinate with quality team on audits and training related issues
Coordinate and maintain inventory of purchased training materials
Perform data entry, record keeping, and tracking of personnel training and certification requirements, training attendance, and course evaluations for internal use as well as documented compliance with regulatory agencies and customers
Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations for personnel attending off-site training as required by assigned site
Performs other duties as assigned.
You typically have a minimum of5years aircraft maintenance work experience or substantiated equivalent experience
You typically have a minimum of 2 year corporate / commercial jet experience
You have experience leading content development efforts
You have excellent facilitation skills
You are a team builder
You have experience within Part 147 regulatory training environment
You have experience in analyzing, developing and administering technical training programs
You have experience researching human performance
You have experience leading content development efforts
You have interpersonal skills necessary to develop and maintain effective working relationships with regulatory agencies and representatives, all levels of management team, suppliers, and other departments and sites throughout Bombardier Aerospace
You have basic knowledge of heavy maintenance practices within business and/or regional aircraft industry as required by assigned site
You have basic knowledge of training system development and administration principles
You have basic knowledge of FAR training regulations part 145 and 163
You have planning and organizational skills necessary to plan, prioritize, and coordinate workload within a multiple project setting
You have training skills necessary to create, deliver, and evaluate curriculum and materials
You have computer skills necessary to operate word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, training, email, and web-based applications
You have verbal and written communication skills
You have a professional teaching background - preferred
You have an A&P license - preferred
You have previous experience in video production - preferred
You have a Bachelor's degree in a related field (aviation, education, etc) - preferred
