The Coordinator of Student Governments is a key staff member of the Student Life Ohio Union and Student Activities team. This role serves as the secondary advisor to the Council of Graduate Students and the Inter-Professional Council and provides programming support for the Undergraduate Student Government. This includes meeting regularly with executive officers, directors, and project leads to identify needs and assist students with the implementation of various initiatives and events. As a Student Life staff liaison for the student governments, this role will conduct officer trainings and transitions, officer hiring and timesheet management, event planning, assessment, and approvals, and logistical support for major events. Additionally, this role will serve as a project manager for various events and collaborations, working in partnership with the Sr. Assistant Director, Financial Operations Associate, and student leaders. This role will report to the Sr. Assistant Director for Student Organizations and Student Governments. This role will be an engaged member of the Ohio Union and Student Activities team by attending regular staff meetings and professional development, supporting Student Activities/ Student Life/ university programs as requested, serving on university committees, and other duties as assigned.
The pay rate for this position is $22.60. This is a non-exempt, hourly position that is eligible for overtime.
