OSF HealthCare seeks a Coordinator Public Relations & Communications to lead internal communications and support strategic marketing efforts in Rockford. Expected pay for this position is $33.52 - $39.44/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.

The Coordinator Public Relations & Communications is accountable for the development and execution of internal communications as well as communications that support strategic marketing initiatives. This position will partner with the Internal Communications Team, Media Relations Team, Strategic Marketing Team, and Events Team to ensure efficiency and consistency in supporting the strategic goals of OSF HealthCare. The Coordinator Public Relations & Communications is responsible for building excellent relationships with internal and external individuals. This position serves as the Public Information Officer (PIO) for his or her area of responsibility.
Mandatory in office until fully functional in position, then mandatory a minimum of 3 days a week. This position occasionally works evenings or weekends to support marketing-sponsored community events in Greater Rockford. Individual frequently works with regional and hospital leaders, providers and local media representing OSF so should have excellent executive presence.
Education: Bachelor's Degree with focus on corporate communications, public relations, journalism, or communications disciplines.
