Job summary

OSF HealthCare seeks a Coordinator Public Relations & Communications to lead internal communications and support strategic marketing efforts in Rockford. You will partner with the Internal Communications, Media Relations, Strategic Marketing, and Events teams to ensure consistency and impact across initiatives.

Mandatory in-office work with eventual minimum 3 days/week on-site. Occasional evenings/weekends for community events; you will engage with hospital leaders, providers, and local media,

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree with focus on corporate communications, public relations, journalism, or communications disciplines.
5 years' experience in communications or a marketing setting.
Complete ICS-100, ICS-200, IS-700, IS-800 within 120 days of hire.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft software.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute internal communications.
Support strategic marketing initiatives.
Collaborate with Internal Communications, Media Relations, Strategic Marketing, and Events teams to ensure consistency.
Serve as the Public Information Officer (PIO) for the area.
