Job summary

OSF HealthCare Saint Anthony Medical Center is seeking a Coordinator Public Relations & Communications in Rockford to develop and execute internal communications and support strategic marketing initiatives.

The role partners with the Internal Communications, Media Relations, Strategic Marketing, and Events teams to ensure efficiency and consistency. The incumbent serves as the Public Information Officer (PIO) and works in-office at first, with a minimum of 3 days a week once fully functional.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with focus on corporate communications, public relations, journalism, or communications disciplines.
• 5 years’ experience in communications or a marketing setting.
• Completion of ICS-100, ICS-200, IS-700, and IS-800 courses within 120 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute internal communications to support strategic marketing goals and initiatives.
• Partner with Internal Communications Team, Media Relations Team, Strategic Marketing Team, and Events Team to ensure consistency.
• Serve as Public Information Officer (PIO) for the area of responsibility.
