The Outdoor Program Coordinator is responsible for the leadership and direction of the Outdoor Program Technical Training Center (TTC) and Challenge Course (CC) facilities and programs, and contributes to special events such as Experience Weber, the Ogden Climbing Festival, Weber Outdoor Welcome and other smaller events. Programming takes place on campus at the Outdoor Adventure and Welcome Center and Challenge Course facilities. Additionally, this position works with many on campus partners to facilitate programs at the Technical Training Center and Challenge Course. This position focuses primarily on the development, preparation, and implementation of drop‑in indoor rock climbing, group climbing, challenge course programs, and certification courses as well as the hiring, training, and supervision of 1 TTC/climbing wall student manager, 5‑10 TTC/climbing wall hourly staff, 1 challenge course student manager, and 5‑10 challenge course hourly staff. There is some crossover into the Adventure program for group climbing instruction and rappel programming.
