Job summary

St. Joseph's Health in New Jersey seeks a dedicated procurement assistant to support the Materials Management Specialist in acquiring supplies, implants, equipment and instruments used by Surgical Services.

You will help organize and allocate materials to ensure uninterrupted delivery of quality patient care, and you will interact with hospital staff in a courteous and professional manner.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Requires 2–3 years of related work experience.
• Must interact with hospital employees courteously and professionally.

Job description

Responsible for assisting the Materials Management Specialist in maintaining an effective system for the procurement of all supplies, implantable, equipment and instruments utilized in Surgical Services. Responsible for organizing and allocating materials to ensure continued delivery of quality patient care.

Qualifications

Work requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and two to three years of previous work related experience required. Work requires the ability to interact with hospital employees in a courteous and professional manner.
