Job summary

Austin Community College in Round Rock is seeking a Coordinator for Evening/Weekend Operations to manage campus admin tasks during evenings and weekends. You will coordinate facilities, room scheduling, and community collaborations while serving as liaison in absence of the Campus Manager.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and two years of related experience; associate degree with four years substitute permitted.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; substitutions allowed with related work experience as specified.
  • Two years related work experience required.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheet, word processing, database, and presentation software.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee evening/weekend campus operations including facilities and support services.
  • Act as Campus Emergency Procedures lead during evening/weekend hours.
  • Provide information about the college to faculty, staff, students, and community groups.
  • Coordinate and support evening events and liaise with community groups in the absence of the Campus Manager.
  • Manage room scheduling and distribution of mail, keys, and other classroom materials.
  • Answer inquiries and resolve issues related to programs, services, events, and class schedules.
  • Maintain liaison with closed offices during off-hours and possibly produce a monthly campus email newsletter.

Job Description Summary

To lead and oversee campus administrative operations in the evening and/or weekends including the oversight and coordination of facilities, designated support services, room scheduling, and collaboration with members of the community.

Job Description
  • Ensures that basic instructional, support services, and facilities function efficiently for evening, weekend, or when necessary during the campus manager's absence.
  • Serves as person in charge of Campus Emergency Procedures during evening/weekend hours of operation.
  • Provides information concerning the college, to faculty, staff, students, and community groups and/or community representatives.
  • Facilitates evening events held by college organization or by neighborhood associations, and community groups. Serves as liaison to community members in absence of Campus Manager.
  • Schedules and handles changes in room assignments for evening classes, and may distribute mail, keys, supplies, paychecks, class rosters and evaluation forms, permits, identification cards, class withdrawal forms, complaint forms, and schedules.
  • Answers inquiries and resolves problems regarding programs, faculty, faculty support services, student support services, campus events, and canceled classes.
  • Serves as liaison for closed college offices during evening or weekend hours of operations.
  • May create and maintain a monthly electronic newsletter for the campus.

Required Work Experience

Required Education
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • An Associate degree and four years of related work experience may substitute for this education requirement. Applicants who substitute work experience to meet the education requirement must use additional related work experience to meet the years of "Required Work Experience" for this position. Physical Requirements
  • Work is performed in a standard office or similar environment.

Salary Range (PG 5) $31,817- $39,409
