Job Description Summary:

To lead and oversee campus administrative operations in the eveningand/or weekends including the oversight and coordination offacilities, designated support services, room scheduling, andcollaboration with members of the community.

Description of Duties and Tasks
  • Ensures that basic instructional, support services, andfacilities function efficiently for evening, weekend, or whennecessary during the campus manager's absence.
  • Serves as person in charge of Campus Emergency Proceduresduring evening/weekend hours of operation.
  • Provides information concerning the college, to faculty, staff,students, and community groups and/or communityrepresentatives.
  • Facilitates evening events held by college organization or byneighborhood associations, and community groups. Serves as liaisonto community members in absence of Campus Manager.
  • Schedules and handles changes in room assignments for eveningclasses, and may distribute mail, keys, supplies, paychecks, classrosters and evaluation forms, permits, identification cards, classwithdrawal forms, complaint forms, and schedules.
  • Answers inquiries and resolves problems regarding programs,faculty, faculty support services, student support services, campusevents, and canceled classes.
  • Serves as liaison for closed college offices during evening orweekend hours of operations.
  • May create and maintain a monthly electronic newsletter for thecampus.
Knowledge
  • Facility management, operation, and maintenance.
  • Services and functions of educational institutions.
  • Community involvement in special evening and/or weekendevents.
Skills
  • Maintaining an established work schedule, including evening andweekend hours.
  • Methods of collaboration with community leaders, or othercommunity members.

  • Use a variety of spreadsheet, word processing, database, andpresentation software.
Required Work Experience
  • Two years related work experience
Required Education
  • Bachelor's degree.

An Associate degree and four years of related work experience maysubstitute for this education requirement. Applicants whosubstitute work experience to meet the education requirement mustuse additional related work experience to meet the years of"Required Work Experience" for this position.
