Job summary

VCI Construction is seeking a Billing Coordinator to support project accounting and administrative tasks. You’ll maintain electronic files, track invoices, and assist the Project Manager and field staff as needed in a collaborative office setting.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of relevant experience, strong Excel and Google Sheets skills, and the ability to multitask under deadlines. This role offers weekly pay, PTO, and a comprehensive benefits package.

• Reports production daily.
• Processes billing (units/firm bid).
• Updates job tracking reports.
• Prints drawings and documents.
• Supports Project Manager, Supervisors, and field staff.

What You’ll Do

• Maintains electronic filing systems.
• Records, files, and proficiency at emails.
• Assists in obtaining permits and licenses.
• Maintains project records.
• Will maintain various job trackers (Excel & Google Sheets).
• Will collect, assemble, and report production daily.
• Process billing (units/firm bid).
• Updates job tracking reports.
• Prints drawings, documents, monitors, logs.
• Will provide assistance to Project Manager, Supervisors, and field employees as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need

• To be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Proficient with Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Proficient in Google sheets.
• 2-5 years relevant experience.
• Organized, fast learner.
• Self-starter - Able to work on their own, comfortable taking on responsibilities without having to be continually directed.
• Good people skills. Able to comfortably interact with management, fellow employees, third parties, etc. in a positive manner.
• Must be able to follow instructions and directions to perform job tasks.
• Possesses good verbal and written skills.
• Must help to solve problems as opposed to starting, adding to or feeding on them.
• Ability to multitask several assignments simultaneously.
• Demonstrates a strong capacity to quickly adapt by learning new skills and unlearning outdated ones.

Additional qualifications (not required but would be beneficial):

• Construction industry experience.
• AT&T Software - ACAS, ABWS-D, ORCA
• Basic accounting background

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Primarily sedentary work involving prolonged periods of sitting and computer use
• Occasional standing, walking, and light lifting (up to 15 lbs.)
• Ability to use standard office equipment (computer, phone, etc.)
• Work is performed in a professional office environment

The wage range for Coordinator Billing is $19.00 - $26.00.
