Job summary

Pauley Construction, LLC is seeking a Billing Coordinator to ensure accurate and timely customer billing and to cycle outstanding work swiftly. The role supports both coordinator and lead levels, with the Lead expected to handle additional leadership tasks.

The position offers weekly pay, PTO, holidays, 401(k) with company match, stock purchase plan, education reimbursement, and insurance benefits. It requires strong organizational skills and the ability to meet weekly, monthly, and quarterly

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Valid driver’s license required or to be obtained upon employment.
  • Able to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Willing to attend and pass required training.
  • May work after hours, weekends, or be on-call.
  • Regular and timely attendance is essential.
  • Excellent communication with internal and external customers.
  • Two or more years of office-related experience.
  • Billing experience preferred.
  • Telecommunications experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Daily production entry.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of billing and invoices.
  • Resolve billing issues promptly with customers.
  • Manage job approaching reports, top-dollar and unbilled aging.
  • Resubmit denied CUPS.
  • Send daily DVS emails.
  • Understand contract and billable items, including materials.
  • Meet weekly, monthly and quarterly billing goals.
  • Assist with payroll-related items as needed.

What You’ll Do
  • Responsible for daily production entry.
  • Responsible for accuracy and timeliness of billing and invoices.
  • Responsible for solving billing situations and resolving customer issues as quickly as possible.
  • Manage job approaching reports that include top dollar and unbilled aging reports.
  • Resubmit denied CUPS.
  • Sending daily DVS emails.
  • Must understand the contract and billable items, including material as well as any other billing related item.
  • Must be able to meet weekly, monthly and quarterly billing goals.
  • Other billing/office related tasks as assigned by direct manager. (Depending upon the office location, billing may assist with some payroll related items)
What You’ll Need
  • To be 18 years of age or older.
  • Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
  • Must possess, or obtain upon employment, a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and company drug screening.
  • Must be able to attend and pass all company required training as needed.
  • May be required to work after hours; on weekends or be on-call as work is needed.
  • Regular and timely attendance is an essential function of this position.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills with both internal and external customers.
Additional Qualifications
  • Two or more years of office related experience.
  • Billing experience required.
  • Telecommunications experience preferred.
  • Any combination of education and/or experience that demonstrates ability to perform the designated job duties and responsibilities of the position.
Reasoning Ability
  • Ability to make common sense understanding to carry out instructions that are provided in written, oral or drawing. Ability to deal with and understand problems involving different variables in many varied situations. Ability to collect, organize, disseminate and analyze significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Mathematical Skills
  • Ability to calculate figures and apply concepts of basic mathematics including algebra.
Language Skills
  • Ability to read, understand and interpret documents such as program manuals and process procedures. Ability to write information including reports. Ability to speak effectively to customers; both internal and external, vendors and coworkers up through all levels of management and staff as well as the general public.
Software Requirements
  • Must have basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Must have general computer knowledge.

Pay Range: The Coordinator Billing position pays an hourly wage of $20.00 - $28.00, depending upon experience.
