Job summary

Sovah Health - Martinsville, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Coordinator, Behavioral Health Outpatient. This full-time role supports admission processes, pre-admission paperwork, and patient assessments, while maintaining therapy tools and coordinating scheduling for clinicians.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, valid driver's license, CPR and CPI training within 30 days, and prior clerical experience; inpatient unit experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and completes necessary audits for patient care tracking. Handles all aspects of the admission process.
• Supports in the completion of pre-admission paperwork as applicable.
• Supports in the tracking and collection of required assessments and surveys (such as BASIS-32/CABA and patient satisfaction surveys).
• Maintains supply of therapeutic tools such as worksheets, videos, and games for clinician use. Per the therapist dictation maintains the programming schedule.
• Supports with charge reconciliation and entering as required.

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Additional requirements include:

• Valid driver's license
• CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact.
• Previous experience on an inpatient unit preferred.
• Must have experience with clerical duties.
