Karmanos Cancer Institute is seeking an Admissions/Discharge Coordinator to manage patient admissions and enhance care delivery quality. The role requires a High School diploma, clerical experience, and offers full-time hours with related responsibilities in patient utilization review and insurance documentation.

As directed by the Executive Director, the Admissions/Discharge Coordinator manages patients through the continuum of care, promoting the delivery of quality, cost-effective health services based on medical necessity and contractual benefits. Emphasis on utilization review, documentation and transition planning. Works in coordination with care team members to develop programs and protocols to enhance the cost and quality of care delivery.
