The University of New Mexico's School of Engineering, Department of Mechanical Engineering is seeking an academics coordinator to manage day-to-day fiscal, administrative, and operational tasks for the academic unit. You will liaise with students, faculty, and staff to resolve issues and support scheduling, budgeting, and purchasing.
This role requires strong customer service experience, the ability to multi-task, and familiarity with UNM policies.
The School of Engineering, Department of MechanicalEngineering is seeking a dependable, personable individual to join our award-winningteam as an academics coordinator. This individual will plan andcoordinate day-to-day fiscal, administrative, and operational activities of anacademic unit. Working with the accountant, senior academic advisor, anddepartment chair, this person will report to the department administrator. Weare looking for an individual with a history of successful customerservice-related administrative employment, proven ability to project manageassigned tasks, worked with a variety of UNM fiscal tasks, and a willingness to work with others to make changes in schedulingand operational functions.
The successful candidate will complete a varietyofadministrative support duties for the department. This requires a rangeof skills and a knowledge of UNM policies and procedures. Specifically,this individual will:

High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
