Computer World Services Corp. (CWS) seeks a COOP Site Support Technician / ORT Analyst to provide senior-level on-site IT support at the USMEPCOM COOP site in Indianapolis, IN.

You will handle LAN administration, end-user devices, telecommunications, network equipment, backups, system recovery, outage response, and COOP readiness. The role covers a staggered 0600–1800 CT weekday schedule with 24/7/365 on-call during exercises and activations; you may be activated within 60 minutes and

Qualifications

• Associate degree in IT or related field or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in systems/network administration, COOP/disaster recovery, outage response, or related discipline.
• Hands-on experience supporting and restoring enterprise networks, systems, end-user devices, and telecommunications.
• Ability to work on site in Indianapolis, IN, with 0600–1800 CT weekday schedule and 60-minute activation readiness.
• Willingness to participate in after-hours, weekend, holiday, surge, or 24/7 emergency coverage.
• Strong written, verbal, customer-service, coordination, and technical problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated on-site IT support at the COOP facility within the staggered 0600–1800 CT weekday schedule; be available for 24/7/365 support during exercises or incidents.
• Maintain activation roster, call trees, escalation paths, and backup technician readiness.
• Configure, install, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN switches, routers, circuits, firewalls, storage, and network equipment.
• Support COOP-site end-user devices, peripherals, printing, connectivity, and authentication issues.
• Coordinate telecommunication support with local service providers and carriers.
• Monitor systems and network services; assess and escalate outage notifications; respond during incidents.
• Maintain SEV 1/2 timelines, coordinate restoration with teams, and validate restorations.
