Job summary
RCG is seeking an OEP COOP/DR Specialist with an active DoD Top Secret clearance and SCI eligibility to support a federal customer. This on-call role requires availability ~2–3 times per quarter and involves secure network installation, configuration, maintenance, and COOP/DR administration.
The ideal candidate has strong hands-on LAN/MAN/WAN experience, expertise in DHCP, DNS, VPN, and the ability to support continuity exercises and mission-critical IT services.
Qualifications
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
- 5+ years of experience in a secure network environment.
- DoD 8570/8320-certified professionals preferred.
- Experience with core network services ( DHCP, DNS, VPN ).
- Hands-on LAN, MAN, WAN troubleshooting and coordination with providers.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers and producing technical documentation.
Responsibilities
- Operate and sustain secure network systems and services.
- Provide and maintain DHCP, DNS, and VPN services.
- Develop and maintain end-to-end network configuration management.
- Support COOP and DR plans and exercises for mission systems.
- Troubleshoot outages and coordinate with service providers.
- Document issues, fixes, and changes; mentor junior engineers.
