Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years in telecommunications engineering, UC, or VoIP.
Experience with enterprise call management, SIP, handsets, voicemail, and restoration.
On-site work in North Chicago, IL with after-hours maintenance and outage support.

Responsibilities

Administer, maintain, patch, upgrade, and troubleshoot call-management platforms and voice apps.
Configure VoIP handsets, extensions, dial plans, and call routing; manage queues.
Troubleshoot voice-quality, registration, SIP trunk, and carrier issues.
Plan and support cutovers for moves, refreshes, and carrier changes; test calls.
Support landline, VoIP, fax, SIP trunk, mobile devices, and hotspots; track tickets.
Respond to outages, isolate faults, implement reroutes, and report restoration progress.
Support incident reports with logs, configurations, and timelines.
Maintain cabling, telecom-room docs, and SOPs; train technicians and users.
