Job summary

Computer World Services Corp. seeks Field Support Technicians to provide hands‑on IT support for the USMEPCOM ENLIST program, including network, cabling, and end‑user devices.

You will diagnose incidents remotely and on-site, coordinate with Service Desk, engineers, and vendors, and maintain accurate tickets and site records. Required: 4+ years in IT field/network support, associate degree or equivalent; DoD 8140.03 qualifications; active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in IT/Networking/Telecommunications.
• Min 4 years of relevant field IT support, network or cabling experience.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, end-user devices and telecom equipment; install cabling and networked gear.
• Follow diagrams, rack layouts, recovery procedures; maintain accurate tickets.
• Strong customer service, communication, organization and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote support for USMEPCOM HQ, MEPS, remote sites, and COOP locations.
• Diagnose and resolve network, telecom, cabling, hardware, software, and end-user issues.
• Participate in 24/7/365 on-call outage response and document timelines and resolutions.
• Install, configure, test, maintain, and replace laptops, desktops, thin/zero clients, and network devices.
• Install and test copper/fiber cabling; maintain racks, patch panels, and telecom spaces.
• Support site surveys, relocations, refreshes, COOP exercises; coordinate with service providers.
• Maintain inventories, diagrams, and installation documentation; follow security and change procedures.
