Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America, Inc. is seeking a diligent warehouse worker to perform inventory and material handling tasks in a refrigerated environment. You will load/unload, process orders, and maintain accurate records while following all GMP and QA guidelines.

The role requires 0–1 year related experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to work Sunday through Thursday on a 1st shift. Forklift certification may be required, with emphasis on safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 0 to 1 year of warehouse, distribution, production, or related experience.
• Certification and/or license for forklift or related work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload stacks and move items to racks, shelves, or bins.
• Sort and store perishable goods in refrigerated areas.
• Maintain organization and rotation of stock in coolers and warehouse.
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests and distribute to production workers.
• Pull and prepare customer orders for shipping and loading onto trucks.
• Check shipment details and bills of lading for accuracy before shipping or receiving.
• Use computer to scan or enter/maintain inventories and records.
• Complete daily pick sheets, cycle counts, and production take backs.
• Assist with monthly/year-end inventory counts and cycle counts.
• Monitor materials and equipment and report irregularities.
