Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America, Inc. is seeking a warehouse associate to perform inventory and stacking tasks in a cooler/refrigerated environment. You will read schedules and requisitions to move items within the warehouse and ensure accurate records and clean, safe operations.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years of related experience, with forklift certification preferred. Duties include order picking, packing, and assisting with counts and cycle counts.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of warehouse, distribution, production, or related experience.
• Forklift certification or license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload stacks and move items onto racks, shelves, or bins.
• Sort and store perishable goods in refrigerated areas.
• Maintain organization and rotation of stock in coolers and warehouse.
• Prepare and fulfill requisitions, work orders, or material requests.
• Accurately pull and package customer orders for shipping and loading.
• Verify shipment accuracy and inspect products before loading or receipt.
• Use computer to scan/enter inventory records.
• Complete daily pick sheets, cycle counts, and inventory tasks.
• Support monthly and year-end inventory counts as needed.
• Monitor materials and report irregularities to supervisor.
• May operate a forklift to move inventory between locations.
