Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate to receive, process, store and distribute items within a cooler/refrigerated environment. You will unload/load trucks, read schedules, and ensure accurate picking and packing for orders.

The role emphasizes inventory control, cycle counts, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace, with forklift operation as needed. High school diploma and 0–1 year experience preferred; DFA GMPs training provided.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–1 year of warehouse, distribution, production, or related experience.
• Certification and/or License - forklift, walk behind jack, or related certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload stacks and move items; place on racks, shelves, or bins.
• Sort and store perishable goods in refrigerated area.
• Maintain organization and rotation of stock in coolers and warehouse.
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests and distribute to production workers.
• Accurately pull and prepare customer orders for shipping and loading onto trucks/trailers.
• Check shipment documentation and product cleanliness prior to loading or receiving.
• Use computer to scan or enter inventories and records.
• Complete daily pick sheets, cycle counts, and production take backs.
• Assist with monthly or year-end inventory counts as required.
• Monitor materials and equipment, report issues to supervisor.
• Follow DFA GMPs and safety/ sanitation requirements.
