Job summary

Garelick Farms, a Dairy Farmers of America company, is seeking a Forklift Operator for the Cooler on the 3rd shift. The role includes operating powered industrial trucks, loading/unloading, staging, and maintaining accurate records.

We offer excellent benefits and a $1500 sign-on bonus for external candidates, with a rate of $22/hr plus $1.50/hr shift differential. Wednesdays and Saturdays off after 11:00 pm–7:30 am shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Warehouse, production, or general work experience preferred.
• Certification and/or License may be required during employment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload products from trailers.
• Distribute pallets from palletizer to trailers and staging areas.
• Stage materials for production.
• Move products within the facility (plant and cooler).
• Receive materials for storage.
• Supply packaging materials and hulls to line as needed.
• Maintain pallet supply for palletizer.
• Rotate packaging and ingredients using FIFO.
• Document all required information clearly and accurately.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Report any food safety/quality issues to management immediately.
• Maintain safe working conditions and comply with health and safety regulations.
• Follow DFA GMPs and corporate regulatory requirements.
