Job summary

Garelick Farms, part of Dairy Farmers of America, seeks a Forklift Operator for the cooler with a 3rd shift (11:00 pm–7:30 am, Wed and Sat off). Pay starts at $20/hr plus $1.50/hr shift differential for 3rd shift, with a $1,500 sign-on bonus for external candidates.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, stacking, FIFO, and maintaining accurate records. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma (or equivalent), warehouse/production experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Warehouse, production, or general work experience preferred.
• Certification and/or License may be required during course of employment.

Responsibilities

• Execute the loading and unloading of products in trailers.
• Distribute pallets of product to trailers and staging areas.
• Stage materials for production.
• Move product and materials within the facility (plant and/or cooler).
• Receive materials for warehouse storage.
• Supply packaging material, cartons, and hulls to line as needed.
• Maintain pallet supply for palletizer.
• Rotate packaging and ingredients using FIFO.
• Ensure all paperwork is filled out clearly and accurately.
• Adhere to SOPs and GMPs, and support continuous improvement.
