Job summary

Epiroc is looking for a Shop Services Technician in Portland, Oregon, responsible for maintaining coolant levels and ensuring optimal equipment operation. This position includes monitoring coolant, performing maintenance tasks, and participating in safety checks.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma, be self-motivated, and have basic mechanical skills. A salary range between $50,000 and $55,000 is offered, along with health care, wellness programs, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Experience in a machine shop environment preferred.
• Previous experience with cutting fluids preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor coolant condition and make appropriate adjustments.
• Perform monthly checks on fire extinguishers and record findings.
• Maintain the coolant mixing machine and clean coolant tanks.
• Participate in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) events.

Skills

Self-motivated

Understanding of industrial instrumentation

Basic mechanical ability

Knowledge of chemistry

Ability to lift 40 lbs
