Job summary

RCO Engineering, Inc. is seeking a dependable Coolant Technician to support our manufacturing plants. The role requires mechanical aptitude, use of power hand tools, and familiarity with job shops and production systems.

You will perform daily coolant checks, determine coolant needs, and manage recycling processes, including tankers and 330 gallon totes. This is a full-time, on-site role with equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use power hand tools.
• HS diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a manufacturing or job shop environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform and record daily checks of pH and coolant concentration.
• Determine coolant needs based on data.
• Fill machines with coolant and/or water as needed.
• Periodically empty coolant from machines into tankers.
• Drive tanker to recycling area.
• Recycle coolant through recycling machine.
• Store recycled coolant in 330 gallon totes.
• Maintain cleanliness around recycling area.
• Assist Preventative Maintenance Technicians with PM activities.
• Support compliance with RCO Quality Policies.
• Any other duties as assigned.

Coolant Technician

RCO Engineering, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Coolant Technician to assist our manufacturing plants. The successful candidate will have a mechanical aptitude, ability use power hand tools, and experience with job shops and production systems.

Core Responsibilities

• Perform and record daily checks of Ph and concentration of coolant in company machines.
• Determine coolant need based on this data.
• Fill machines appropriately (with coolant and/or water
• Periodically empty coolant from machines into tankers.
• Drive tanker to recycling area (Building 8).
• Recycle coolant through recycling machine.
• Store recycled coolant in 330 gallon totes until needed.
• Maintaining cleanliness around recycling area.
• Assisting Preventative Maintenance Technicians with PM activities (oiling and greasing)
• Support compliance with RCO Quality Policies.
• Any other duties as assigned.
