Job summary

CRH is seeking a maintenance technician to inspect, maintain, and repair equipment in a facility in Oregon. The role focuses on minimizing downtime and ensuring safe, efficient operation.

The technician will handle preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and coordinate repairs, while maintaining records and complying with safety standards. The position requires 2+ years of relevant experience and a willingness to be on-call as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical training is a plus.
• At least 2 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Must follow safety protocols and company safety standards.
• Technical expertise with mechanical and electrical systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect machinery, equipment, and systems to identify issues and ensure proper functioning.
• Perform preventive maintenance to keep equipment in good condition.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues using diagnostic tools and expertise.
• Perform repairs or replace parts as necessary.
• Work with electrical and mechanical systems within the facility.
• Respond to emergency repair requests to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including work orders.
• Generate and close work orders in operating systems.
