Job summary

Insomnia Cookies is hiring for cookie crew at our Burlington, NC location. You will greet guests, take orders, bake fresh cookies, and ensure orders are packaged and delivered correctly. Enjoy a fun team environment with growth opportunities and daily pay options.

Typical duties include helping customers, answering questions, and maintaining a clean bakery while providing a warm, friendly experience. Must be 18+, able to lift 40 lb, and available nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of experience in a customer-service focused role.
• Personable, genuine, outgoing demeanor.
• Customer service focused and a willingness to exceed guest expectations.
• Great communication, organizational and math skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lb boxes of product.
• Must be 18 years or older to be employed.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests entering the store and take their orders according to procedure.
• Help customers understand menu items, answer clarifying questions, repeat orders for accuracy.
• Give each customer a warm experience with a smile in person & over the phone.
• Bake delicious cookies to perfection and serve a scoop of ice cream.
• Ensure fast, warm, and correct delivery orders are packaged and sent out.
• Handle cash and payments accurately and have no shortages or overages.
• Cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining the bakery including other duties as assigned.

Insomnia Cookies is one of the fastest growing, late‑night, sweet indulgence companies in the country, and we are actively interviewing Cookie Crew for our newly opening Burlington, NC store located at 1617 Glidewell Dr, Suite 102, Burlington, NC 27215. As a member of the Cookie Crew, you are the ultimate Insomniac. You will be the point person at the front of the store interacting with customers and baking warm, delicious cookies on the shift.
