The Buttery is seeking a Cookie Baker in Norristown, PA. You will join a busy pastry team, preparing, baking, and finishing cookies with care and consistency. This hands-on role focuses on quality, efficiency, and collaboration across the kitchen to meet daily production goals.

Responsibilities include following established recipes, maintaining clean and organized workspace, and supporting the team to ensure timely production while upholding The Buttery's standards of quality and hospitality.

Formación

• 1+ years of professional baking experience in high-volume environments.
• Expertise in baking, production and techniques.
• Strong understanding of baking science and ingredient functionality.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Weekend and holiday availability.
• Effective communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsabilidades

• Production & Quality Control: Prepare, portion, and bake cookies, ensuring consistency and adherence to recipes and quality standards.
• Process & Equipment Management: Support daily production workflows by following processes and operating bakery equipment safely.
• Cleanliness & Food Safety: Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work environment according to health and safety guidelines.
• Team Collaboration & Communication: Work with pastry, kitchen, and delivery teams to meet production timelines.
• Growth & Improvement: Suggest ideas to refine recipes and improve workflow.
