Job summary

Summit, a brand of Elior North America, is seeking an experienced cook supervisor for a correctional facility kitchen in West Chester, PA. This full-time onsite role offers a $1,500 sign-on bonus and a chance to coordinate and supervise staff to ensure efficient operations and high standards.

You will train employees in food service and sanitation, ensure meals are prepared on time, and maintain quality and portion control.

Qualifications

• At least one year of culinary experience in a high-volume establishment with emphasis on scratch cooking.
• Complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience supervising a team.

Responsibilities

• Instructing and training employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation, ensuring meal services begin on time, and ensuring that portions, appearance and temperature are high quality.
