Job summary

Delta Area Economic Opportunity Corporation in Sikeston, MO, is hiring a kitchen cook for the Head Start program. You will prepare food from predetermined menus and manage kitchen operations, including cleaning and record keeping.

Applicants must have one year of commercial cooking experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and a valid Missouri driver's license with transportation and insurance.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in commercial cooking.
• Ability to use math to complete production records and reports.
• High School Diploma or GED; valid Missouri driver's license, transportation and insurance.

Job description

The applicant will prepare food for the Head Start children and staff from pre-determined menus. The applicant will be responsible for complete operation of the kitchen, including cleaning, record keeping, etc. Must have one (1) year working experience in commercial cooking, and must be able to use math skills to complete production records and reports.

Must have and provide proof of a High School Diploma/GED, a current Drivers License valid in Missouri, transportation and insurance
