Job summary

DAEOC is seeking a kitchen professional to prepare meals for Head Start children and staff from pre-determined menus. You will be responsible for the complete operation of the kitchen, including cleaning and record keeping, ensuring safe food handling and timely service.

Required are one year of commercial cooking experience, proof of High School Diploma or GED, and a Missouri driver’s license with reliable transportation and insurance. Excellent benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in commercial cooking.
• Ability to perform math to complete production records and reports.
• Proof of High School Diploma / GED required.
• Missouri driver’s license, transportation and insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food for Head Start children and staff from pre-determined menus.
• Manage complete kitchen operations including cleaning and sanitation and record-keeping.
• Maintain production records and daily reports.
