Job summary

Makeready LLC in Dallas is seeking a passionate cook to lead the Rodeo Bar's culinary experience, elevating unique ingredients and flavors for guests. This role focuses on creating a memorable dining connection through thoughtful preparation and collaboration with front-of-house teams.

You will set up stations, manage prep, and maintain safety and sanitation in a fast-paced kitchen, contributing to a welcoming, authentic Texas dining atmosphere.

Qualifications

• At least 3+ years of related professional cooking experience.
• Experience with commercial restaurant cooking equipment.
• Ability to follow sanitation and cleanliness procedures.
• Culinary degree or related restaurant experience preferred.
• Great communication skills with both front and back of the house.
• Handle a fast-paced cooking environment with ease.

Recognized for more than a century as the iconic address for Dallas hospitality, The Adolphus offers timeless culture, vibrant and storied surroundings, imaginative and collaborative food and drink, and immersive experiences. In it's reimagining, the 407 room downtown hotel recalls a grand European home.

We are in search of passionate personalities to become the face of The Adolphus hotel’s iconic Rodeo Bar. This joint first opened in 1981 and served Dallasites and visitors for nearly four decades. We are now re-opening the Rodeo bar with a new menu, new vibe and back room for private gatherings while honoring the heart and soul of the original concept : "Texas grit and authenticity."

About the Role:

This individual is passionate about the connections that can be created over a good meal. Their primary goal is to create an intentional culinary experience that connects guests to the local environment by elevating unique ingredients and flavors.

Requested Tasks
