Job summary

Makeready LLC and its affiliated entities invite a friendly entry-level restaurant professional to join the downtown Dallas team. You will set and prepare tables, fold napkins, and help ensure guests enjoy a seamless dining experience from seating to service.

We value a proactive demeanor, reliability, and a willingness to learn. Prior experience in hospitality is preferred, and a welcoming, warm attitude will help you thrive in our fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Set and prepare tables for dining, folding napkins, cleaning and placing tableware, etc.
• Stock, maintain and clean designated food station(s).
• Assist server with table service, including running food, serving beverages, etc.
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, efficient and friendly manner

This individual is just starting in the restaurant world and seeks to go beyond an understanding of the menu. This person recognizes that a great experience allows guests to focus on enjoying their food and the ambiance so it is important to anticipate and fulfill guest needs before they ask. From swift delivery of food to refilling of drinks, this person creates a welcoming, warm environment that leaves guests with not only a great meal, but a new and inspired outlook on their surroundings.

Requested Tasks

• Set and prepare tables for dining, folding napkins, cleaning and placing tableware, etc.
• Ensure tableware is in good condition and report any defects for repair
• Stock, maintain and clean designated food station(s)
• Assist server with table service, including running food, serving beverages, etc.
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, efficient and friendly manner

Requested Capabilities

• Prior experience highly preferred
• A proactive and friendly demeanor
• Able to clear flatware and dishware, clean tables and replace linens
