Job Overview

The Line Cook is responsible for preparing, seasoning, and cooking menu and non-menu orders according to LodgeWorks specifications. Responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing work areas, following safe food handling practices, and working closely with the sales staff for service delivery.

Daily Responsibilities

1. Approach all guest and employee encounters in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
2. Maintain attendance standards.
3. Inspect and clean food preparation and service areas.
4. Ensure food freshness and proper storage.
5. Set up, break down, and clean workstations.
6. Utilize kitchen equipment safely and report hazards.
7. Control waste and monitor food inventories.
8. Prepare food according to recipes and standards.
9. Follow safety and sanitation standards.
10. Complete daily side work with enthusiasm.
11. Assist with other tasks as needed.
