Job summary

Piedmont Mountainside Hospital is seeking a Cook to support patient and cafeteria meal service. You will prepare meals, interpret recipes, and assemble large volumes following menu standards.

Education: HS Diploma or GED preferred; culinary school preferred. Experience: 1 year cooking experience; substitutions allowed if enrolled in a culinary program. SAFE Serve certification is preferred where applicable.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Culinary School preferred.
• A student currently enrolled in an accredited Culinary School preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals and interpret recipes.
• Cook and assemble large volumes for cafeteria, patient, and catering meals.
