Job summary

Universal Hospital Services Inc. is seeking a Cook to prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner for patients and staff in accordance with approved menus and production sheets.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) with sanitation training and a food handler's card. Prior experience in quantity cooking is preferred, and flexibility for overtime, weekends, and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Training in food service sanitation and possession of food handler’s card is required.
• Two (2) years’ experience in quantity cooking, preferred; basic knowledge of modified diets; experience utilizing industrial kitchen equipment and utensils.

• Additional Requirements: Must be able to work with minimal supervision. May be required to work overtime, flexible hours, weekends, and holidays.
